Processed Meat Consumption: a Risk for Your Health?

On August 28/29 Janice Sych and Ivo Kaelin will present results from their project «Was isst die Schweiz?».

Janice Sych, PhD (Institute of Food and Beverage Innovation) and Ivo Kaelin (Institute of Applied Simulation) will present results from their BLV funded project 5.17.02ERN Was isst die Schweiz? at the Swiss Public Health Conference 2019.

Using data from the National Nutritional Survey menuCH, they investigate associations between processed meat intake and sociodemographic and lifestyle factors, and examine the incidence of colorectal cancer in Switzerland for any similar regional patterns to processed meat consumption.
