Practical MOOC on aquaponics on edX
Also the second course run of the MOOC «Aquaponics - the circular food production system» meets with great interest: At the start of the course, 1000 aquaponics enthusiasts from 110 different countries are already participating!
This 6-week course, with a time commitment of 4-6 hours/week, teaches the basics of aquaculture, hydroponics, and the combination of these two technologies, called aquaponics. Participants have access to learning videos, course literature, discussion forums, hands-on exercises, individual assignments, and quizzes. In the last week of the course, participants will learn how to dimension an aquaponic system and theoretically design and dimension their own system.
What is new is that everyone can attend this self-paced course at their own learning pace.
