Beschichtete Diamanten mit verbesserter Adhesion (DiAd)
Beschreibung
Vitrified-bond diamond grinding tools bring numerous advantages to grinding processes, however have short lifetimes due to poor adhesion between the diamond particles and the bond matrix causing pulling-out of grains from the tool. In this project novel coatings were developed on the diamond particles via preceramic/polymer or sol-gel routes to improve adhesion of the diamond particles and minimize oxidation.
