Energy Harvesting on a Bike
Beschreibung
An increasing number of bike components are being replaced by electronic components by bike manufacturers. These electronic alternatives are often connected wirelessly in order to avoid bottlenecks at connection points such as the transition from the frame to the handlebars of the bike.
The target of this innovation cheque project is to investigate wireless, battery‐driven bike component, to measure their energy demand in different scenarios, and to determine possible energy sources that could be used for energy harvesting and therefore for powering the electronic parts.
