Your role

• Collaborate in digital learning projects to implement online learning programs in our further educational programs on coffee. 
• Work collaboratively with a corporate partner and its subject matter experts on their bespoke online learning program that is run at the Coffee Excellence Center. 
• Organize e-leaning classes, activities and student group work. Carry out e-moderation, build quizzes, assessments, create graphics and animations. 
• Support subject matter experts in creating digital resources such as screencasts, video tutorials, introduction videos, podcasts and virtual classrooms. 
• Help designing the learning path for course modules and develop curriculum-specific interactive e-learning activities. 
• Work collaboratively with the ZHAW Life Sciences and Facility Management digital education team. 
• Produce and upload coffee content into an e-Learning system 
• Transfer content into an engaging and user-friendly e-learning format and edit scientific coffee knowledge to make it accessible for a larger group of participants 
• Engage in marketing activities (social media, info events, community/alumni events) 
• Maintain awareness of budgets and resources 
• Report to head of Coffee Excellence Center

Your profile

• Higher educational degree in media informatics, educational technologies, media didactics or related areas. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German is an advantage. 
• Organizational strength, self-motivated, capable to independently carry out the tasks. 
• Comfortable to work with in a dynamic environment communicating, organizing and scheduling with external subject matter experts. 
• Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Teams). 
• Professional experience with designing and implementing online learning programs is an advantage 
• Familiarity with digital learning technology tools is an advantage. 
• A Plus: Knowledge/interest in coffee and graphic design skills

The Institute of Chemistry and Biotechnology (ICBT) is one of the scientific institutes at the ZHAW. It conducts applied research on cutting-edge topics relating to health, chemistry, biotechnology and the environment - from antibiotic resistance and antiviral agents to microplastics and more sustainable chemical processes. The institute trains young people for the growing life sciences market in three bachelor's programmes and two master's courses.

Our understanding of chemistry and biotechnology is that it involves the linking of discoveries in the natural sciences with technological knowledge, with the aim of applying biological systems to the analysis and manufacture of products. The focus is on applications in the areas of pharma, food and ecology.
