The Swiss tech industry is innovative and offers solutions for socio-political challenges of all kinds. To make this possible, we need committed and well-trained individuals. The ZHAW School of Engineering trains young people who are interested in technology to become hands-on and determined employees. The ZHAW conducts important research projects with many Swissmem companies. I am looking forward to our work on the Strategy Advisory Board that will allow us to contribute to the further development of this outstanding university of applied sciences.
Dr. Stefan Brupbacher
The ZHAW School of Engineering is important for Winterthur as a centre for technology and is a valuable cooperation partner for companies in the region.
Thomas Anwander
I am honoured to sit on the Strategy Advisory Board in order to support the ZHAW School of Engineering in becoming more competitive and bringing industry and the university closer together. After working for more than 24 years at Sulzer, a period during which we have developed many technologies together with the ZHAW and a great number of our employees have taken on teaching assignment there, this is also a pleasure for me at a personal level.
Dr. Torsten Wintergerste
In view of the major challenges that our fast-moving modern age is confronted with, a close integration of academic research and teaching with their practical usage is becoming a must. The ZHAW School of Engineering is already successfully living this credo, and the Strategic Advisory Board will support them fully in this endeavour.
