Entrepreneurial Profile
During the first year of study, full-time students in all bachelor's degree programs (part-time students during the second year) can enroll in the Entrepreneurial Profile at the ZHAW School of Engineering. This program, designed for students interested in entrepreneurship, includes taking specific modules. Additionally, students receive extra support from a mentor during project modules and while working on their project and bachelor thesis, for which they can propose their own ideas. As part of their final thesis, they also explore economic and entrepreneurial aspects and develop a business plan. At regular events, they have the opportunity to network with other participants and students from different disciplines.
“The Entrepreneurial Profile has strengthened my entrepreneurial thinking and helped me to develop business ideas in a targeted manner. What was particularly motivating was the exchange with like-minded people and the community events.”
Thomas Gysin, Electrical Engineering Student in the Entrepreneurial Profile
