Swisscom IoT-Study

The goal of this project is to quantify based on certain use cases of intelligent logistic solutions the contribution of IoT to increase the energy efficiency and climate protection. Furthermore the total contribution towards the energy efficiency and climate protection goals of Switzerland will be evaluated. Based on a deeper observation of use cases before and after implementation of new IoT solutions and based on available information and data the fuel consumption and the CO2 balance will be determined. In a further step based on the gained data and of IoT in combination with optimised logistics the potential for Switzerland will be evaluated.
